Shadow Rock Elementary School:

CSIP SMART GOALS:
1) Increase student performance on the Georgia Milestones in English Language Arts by 3%;
2) Increase student performance on the Georgia Milestones in Math by 5%;
3) Increase student performance on the Georgia Milestones in Science by 3%;
4) Improve school climate rating by May 2024

Mission Statement
    Shadow Rock Elementary School mission is to cultivate a 21st century learning institution that prepares students for college and career readiness by providing meaningful personalized learning experiences through rigorous standards-based instruction in a safe and nurturing environment.
 Vision Statement
Shadow Rock Elementary school is dedicated to producing competent life-long learners through collaborative working with the community to maximize all students' achievement in order to ensure academic success.

We believe all students can learn.
We believe each student learns best when his or her diverse needs are met.
We believe effective learning occurs when students are actively engaged in developmentally appropriate experiences.
We believe student achievement and self-esteem are enhanced by nurturing positive relationships among the students, faculty, staff and parents.
We believe teachers, parents, and members of the community share in the responsibility of student success in learning.

Unique Assets

The Shadow Rock Facility houses two separate schools.  The first floor of the building is occupied by the Shadow Rock Psycho-Educational Center.  Shadow Rock Elementary occupies the second floor.  Each school operates independently.  The schools share cafeteria space, physical education fields, the library/media center and an outdoor classroom.  Shadow Rock Elementary has an outdoor classroom which features a nature trail maintained by 4-H students.
